Frequently asked questions.

  • This is a very personal topic and varies from person to person. It can depend on your previous sports background, lifestyle, how much you will find one of these apparatus easier or harder.

However most people tend to find the Hammock and Hoop easier to start with than the Silks. Silks can be more demanding in terms of strength if you are just starting. Hammock is usually a great start and preparation before joining or trying silks classes. We recommend trying all these three arts in the beginning and perhaps choosing one or two to focus in, that resonates and you enjoy more personally.

  • We got you - We offer intro and beginners, having you in mind! The program and dynamic of these Intro and beginners classes is exactly build to support and help your start in Aerial Training.

EVERYONE can try and can benefit from Aerials and/or flexibility. The Intro and beginners classes as well as All Levels classes have no prerequisites and are open for all.

Additionally you'll become stronger and flexible by attending our classes.

  • The minimum age to attend our Adult Group Classes is 18 years old. We have students of all ages.

For kids and teens until the age of 18 we offer Private classes.

  • No background in dance, gymnastics, and Aerial is required to start. When starting your Aerial journey our coaches will guide you and support you through, teaching the foundations, correct technique, leading you to progression and higher levels over time.

  • Not at all!

Flexibility wise you are most welcome to join our more than 6 Flexibility Classes per week. Usually we work and focus on a specific area on the day - Front Splits, Middle Splits, Backbends - and these classes will help you to improve your Flexibility in your overall day to day life and in the air! Plus it will help you have beautiful lines. As a beginner, a lot of tricks in Aerial don’t require a huge amount of flexibility to start with, but of course the more experienced you become the more flexible ideally you will become also to help you with harder and more complex tricks and transitions.

Regarding the Upper Body Strength, do not worry! In class we will work on specific conditioning exercises that will help you in the air and get you stronger. We will work on the strength you need to build in classes!

  • Our Studio is NOT ladies only, and as for the moment we do not have Ladies only Classes.

However and on the above topic, a male presence is extremely rare and as practitioners of Aerial Arts. We do work with ladies who wish for a ladies only environment, in this sense we are considerate. We do not accept walk ins, and our bookings close 1 hour before. If this would be a concern we can always let you know if there is a male presence booked in - which again is extremely rare.

We also have curtains installed at the Studio for more privacy.

  • If you are just starting or have little experience the indicated class is Intro & Level 1.

For Level 2 above classes, kindly refer to our “Classes” tab to check the prerequisites information. If you attend a Level 2 + class without the necessary preparation and/or experience your instructor has the right to redirect you and decline the teachings on that day.

All levels Classes are open to ALL.

In case of doubt feel free to contact us directly.

  • Please bare in mind that even thou Straps is Open to all levels, this art is probably one of (if not the most) demanding and challenging of all.

From start practicing straps would require a certain amount of upper body strength. You will most certainly work on the required strength on the class. You can expect a great workout with lots of conditioning involved.

  • We do not offer drop in/walk in option.

All classes must be booked in advance (latest 1 hour in advance) through our Website or Application.

Please note that we process all payments and transactions Online.

  • We do have a small Changing room and WC available inside of the Studio, however we do not have showers..

  • HOOP, SILK & HAMMOCK

We encourage students to wear fitted clothing that covers the back of their knees and torso for all aerial classes. This will help avoiding burns, scratches, caused by friction from the fabric or hoop.

    FLEXIBILITY

We recommend athletic attire that is stretchable and you feel comfortable moving in. You can also bring leg/back warmers and knee pads.

    ALL CLASSES

We have a water dispenser available and therefore we recommend you to bring your own bottle of water. We have limited extra mats available at the studio so we ask you to please bring your own mat and towel.

  • Please leave your jewelry at home. It can cause damage to our apparatuses and you will be held responsible. It is also a safety hazard if your jewelry becomes caught on any aerial equipment. You will not be allowed to wear any jewelry in any of our aerial classes.

  • There are always risks involved with any physical activity but aerial dance is really no more dangerous than any other sport or movement training. Our instructors work hard to manage any risk and keep students as safe as possible. We have a structured curriculum that allows students to progress at a safe pace and focuses on proper technique and injury prevention.

Proper crash mats are used and equipment is inspected frequently. Your safety is always our first priority.

  • In order to book a class you must firstly register through our website or application, secondly purchase a single class or membership package. Only then, when credits are available under your profile, the system will allow you to proceed and book a class.
