Our Aerial Silks Classes…

  • Silks All Levels

    This Class is Open to All Levels and abilities and no pre-experience is required. What to wear: We recommend wearing sports clothes that cover your torso and back of the knees. Please bring your own mat and water bottle.

    Aerial Silks is one of the most romantic of the circus arts. In this class you will learn how to climb, invert, spin, drop, create beautiful shapes in the air, on fabric sheets that hang from the ceiling. This 1 hour long class consists of a 10 minute Warm Up followed by specific conditioning and strength exercises to help you with the tricks and transitions in the air, and the learning of climbs, sequences, wraps, ending with (when the time permits) a 3 min Freestyle and cool-down.

  • Silk Intro & Lvl1

    This Class is Open to Beginners and low Intermediate. No pre-requisites required. What to wear: We recommend wearing sports clothes that cover your torso and back of the knees. Please bring your own mat and water bottle.

    In this class you will learn how to climb and perform foot locks, wrist wraps, and gradually starting to make your way to tricks and simple transitions in the air. You will learn and develop the foundations and basics of this Aerial Art. This 1 hour long class consists of a 10 minute Warm Up followed by specific conditioning and strength exercises to help you with the tricks and transitions in the air, and the learning of sequences, wraps, tricks, ending with (when the time permits) a 3 min Freestyle and cool-down.

  • Silk Lvl2-4

    This Class is Open to Intermediate and Advanced - Previous Aerial Silks experience required to take this class. Pre-requisites: Climbing, hip-keys, cross back straddle, invert in the air, proficient in foot locks, wrist locks. What to wear: We recommend wearing sports clothes that cover your torso and back of the knees. Please bring your own mat and water bottle.

    Continue your silks journey by learning new and more complex tricks and wraps and be introduced to drops and spinning. You will start longer sequences and develop your stamina further. This 1 hour long class consists of a 10 minute Warm Up followed by specific conditioning and strength exercises to help you with the tricks and transitions in the air, and the learning of sequences, wraps, tricks, ending with (when the time permits) a 3 min Freestyle and cool-down.

To all our Silks Classes we recommend:

  • Wearing sports attire that cover the legs and torso mainly.

  • Bring your water bottle (we have water dispenser)

  • If you are in doubt of which level category to attend please attend a All Levels and/or Intro/Level 1 class and ask your coach to help you access which level will benefit you the most.
