The Workshops
-
A movement research space focused on guided improvisation, body quality, and expanding your aerial vocabulary. Explore what defines your style, discover new pathways, and learn how to make your technique feel personal, intentional, and uniquely yours.
-
Build a strong foundation for dynamic hoop technique through timing, coordination, and controlled momentum. You will explore essentials like kip-pike, beats, swings, tempos, and rolls, approaching each skill with clear methodology and progressive preparation, finishing with a short dynamic sequence to integrate technique into flow.
-
A fundamental principle for advanced aerial work. This workshop introduces C-shaping mechanics and strength pathways supporting skills like reverse side planches, meathooks, rolls, and flares, combining technical breakdown with targeted preparation.
Expect a combination of technical breakdown, conditioning preparation, and applied practice designed to build both understanding and physical confidence. This workshop creates a deeper structural foundation that supports longevity and progression across your entire aerial practice.
-
Develop control, flow, and confidence in spinning while understanding your relationship to the rotation axis.
Explore initiation, spin control, and smooth transitions alongside creative spinning sequences that enhance musicality and expression.
-
Work with the hoop close to the floor to explore floorwork, grounded transitions, and creative pathways in and out of the apparatus. We will investigate how to build a relationship with the hoop while grounded, how the floor can become an extension of the apparatus, and how transitions between floor and air create rich choreographic material.
Develop smooth low-hoop sequences and discover new movement possibilities

Your Questions, Answered-
Absolutely! Emilia’s workshops go beyond just hoop technique. They also focus on creativity, musicality, stage presence, and finding your own artistic expression — all of which are transferable skills you can carry into other apparatus and disciplines.
Some prior hoop experience is recommended, as certain workshops will include hoop-specific material. That said, suitability may vary depending on the workshop and your personal goals. If you’re unsure which option is right for you, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to guide you.
